Exactly. As an American living in the UK for the sixth straight year, I was thinking exactly this, Tessa! sexy girls

I have help with laundry and had new items ruined also. Your pants were cotton knit though. What about clothing made from cotton that is not stretchy? I have a few nice white blouses that shrunk.

My electric bill is $480 every 90 days. Yes, using the dryer is expensive so we don t use it much. We use it for the sock/jocks and big towls, everything else is line-dried inside. (Clothes-munching dog outside.)

Death means change our clothes. Clothes become old, then time to come change. So this body become old, and then time come, take young body.

Yup, I am with Chris. Our HOA specifically bans hanging laundry, even in the backyard where it can t be seen! Besides, I also don t like the stiffness of line-dried clothing, and it would be my luck that I would forget it outside and some animal would do something horrible to it.

James Reinhart spent months trying to get somebody, anybody, to invest in his idea: an online clothing exchange for women and kids.

I didn t even know Northface EXISTED until I went to a certain baby ivy school . It still amazes me as to why its so popular. White people LOVE being unique, but they all end up being the same

I absolutely love it! Stereotypes are fantastic. I often wonder if this blog is written by someone living in Evanston, IL. I really look forward to reading it. Keep it up.

In the great city where he lived, life was always gay. Everyday many strangers came to town, and among them one day came twoswindlers. They let it be known they were weavers, and they saidthey could weave the most magnificent fabrics imaginable. Notonly were their colors and patterns uncommonly fine, but clothesmade of this cloth had a wonderful way of becoming invisible toanyone who was unfit for his office, or who was unusuallystupid. forex trading news.egder.com

Ageing, he thought, comes about because this developmental programme, this constant change, never turns off. From birth until puberty, change is crucial: we need it to grow and mature. After we ve matured, however, our adult bodies don t need change, but rather maintenance. If you ve built the perfect house, you would want to stop adding bricks at a certain point, Walker says. When you ve built a perfect body, you d want to stop screwing around with it. But that s not how evolution works. Because natural selection cannot influence traits that show up after we have passed on our genes, we never evolved a stop switch for development, Walker says. So we keep adding bricks to the house. At first this doesn t cause much damage a sagging roof here, a broken window there. But eventually the foundation can t sustain the additions, and the house topples. This, Walker says, is ageing.

Im going to have to say this entire site is hilarious. ALL of you rednecks writing in with your shitty grammar also happens to be HILARIOUS. It adds character to this site. It also proves in fact that white people, white trash for the most part, are self righteous ignorant dip shits. Its funny because you see black people magazines. I always say, what if there was White People Magazine . I think black people (along with other races) would be pissed. BUT i am now reassured they would be pissed because all of the white trash would go running around with copies saying lookit what we made lookit here , we are the best USA wooo freedom acting like they never shit and piss excellence. i hate ignorant WHITE TRASH. get off your ass and join the military or get a job. get off your weak ass junkie ways. if youre not part of the solution you certainly are the problem. Thanks.

This is very true. However being a person from the mountains in the west and now living in the city on the east. I don t feel as foolish wearing my ski jacket and hat when people are using umbrellas to cover themselves from the snow that never even sticks to the ground. You can spot the posers, but then again maybe I look foolish to them. But I still don t have to carry an umbrealla around wherever I go. FACE!

I agree with Tina. I would think that line drying vs. electric drying would not be enough to cause World War III on Jillee s very eye opening post. It s true that it saves a lot of money when you line dry clothing, but it is not always possible. Please think about things before you type/say them. nude girls

Great site. I know there was a post on dogs, but you just have to do one on horses too. And how people dress up for the Kentucky Derby, and love Secretariat/Barbaro/whatever more than breathing air. Dating to 1905, this glorious flower-strewn scene of summery bliss created by Wilhelm von Gloeden was sold as a postcard (the publisher’s initials AE a co-incidental match for this very blog!). A fine souvenir for the traveller to treasure, or perhaps a treat to send home to a friend who shared the same appreciation of aesthetic beauty and male beauty combined!

It has been an awfully long time since I shared a photograph of Ange Camilli, 1st prize winner in an early physical beauty contest (later to become the body building still with us today). Published - sadly all censored - as a set of postcards circa 1920, by Alfred Noyer of Paris.

A postcard from Taormina, in the early years of the 20th century - this photograph by Gaetano D’Agata makes a charming card to send home to a friend, or keep as a souvenir.

[edit] I was very quickly provided with exactly what I wished for, my thanks to the helpful gent who sent the following :
As far as I understand the inscription on your photo is in Bulgarian:
Андрей, Честитъ ти именъ день, за много години. Пожеа ваме Ви щастие и успехъ. Андрей, тази картичка е подобна на твоята, наято ми прати, за имениятъ ми день. Приеметъ поздравъ отъ ?Всички ни Пеша.
This card is send to a certain Andrej on his name day. The sender(s?) wish him happiness and success. They also say that the picture reminded them of him.

A beautiful model, lost in his own quiet thoughts, in this postcard published by Alfred Noyer of Paris, toward the end of the 1910s, or into the early 1920s. We can see another shot of this remarkably handsome man here.

Attributed to variously von Gloeden and publishers Lehnert & Landrock, but a gorgeous model with a charming subtle smile and bewitching eyes, whoever captured him on camera.

Two different copies of the same photograph, published as postcards by Alfred Noyer of Paris, in the 1910s or ‘20s. A great part of the appeal in these pictures is their age, all the signs of wear & tear and the fading effects of time are a wonderful reminder of the years that have passed, all the places the prints have been kept - was each individual copy treasured and passed on with care; or forgotten, only to surface later for a whole new audience to appreciate.

Another magnificent shot of Ange Camilli, published as a postcard by Alfred Noyer in Paris, c.1920. I intend to collect the full set of these brilliant, brightly lit and lovely pictures, there are several more (you can see those already posted here).

Images from this glorious set are often incorrectly dated to 1863, because of the AN Paris 63 in the lower right - but this refers to publisher Alfred Noyer and his numbered registration of patent on the set.

A 1905 postcard by Wilhelm von Gloeden, beautiful in its tones of hazy blue, and the oh-so-handsome model bedecked with a wreath of laurel leaves. The image is, in fact, cropped from a larger photograph, one of a set taken some time between 1895 and 1898 at Monte Ziretto, Taormina. The full scene, with a second young man almost entirely trimmed out of this postcard version, can be seen here.

One more submission from frequent contributor Alan : when I first saw this remarkably modern-looking portrait I wasn’t certain of its authenticity - many a present-day photoshoot has been creatively edited to appear weathered and old - but it is indeed genuine. Taken in Tunisia circa 1910, by Rudolf Lehnert, this image and others like it were to find fame when published in the form of postcards, from 1924 onwards.
